The FDA said on tuesday regarding Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine that there were “no specific safety concerns identified that would preclude issuance of an EUA (Emergency Use Authorization)” and confirmed an overall efficacy of 94.1%. The team of experts from FDA on thursday will give final decision regarding the authorization of vaccine for EUA (Emergency Use Authorization).
After Pfizer, Moderna is the second COVID-19 vaccine that will be authorized by FDA. This is good news and advancement in healhcare that will surely alter the pandemic in near future.
